About PCANZ
The Port and Crane Academy of New Zealand was formed as a collaborative venture between the Crane Association of New Zealand (CANZ) and the Port Industry Association (PIA). Operating as an New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) registered Private Training Establishment (PTE), PCANZ is strategically established to provide high-quality and relevant training solutions to the port and crane and other allied sectors.
With a commitment to upholding industry standards and meeting the dynamic demands of the sector, PCANZ prioritises the delivery of high-quality and inclusive training initiatives. The overarching goal is to equip individuals with the necessary competencies to navigate the intricacies of the port and crane industry with proficiency and adaptability. Through maintaining a learner and quality centred approach, PCANZ ensures that its training activities benefit all stakeholders, contributing to the cultivation of a well-prepared, dynamic and skilled workforce.
